Weβre Critical to the Future of Homeland Security.
This is Our Why.
Despite statistics proving that women have surpassed men in higher education, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security workforce is still 67% male and only 32% female. Within DHS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) workforce is 59% male and only 41% female. Closing the gender gap and creating a more diverse workforce is why we created CA-WHS.
Through our network of professional women, weβve created a community within which women can be elevated and learn from each other.
