Technician Level: Module A - The week begins the process of the Technician program. It is an intense, one-week overview of Basic Chemistry, and how that Chemistry effects the Hazardous Materials response. Periodic Table of the Elements forms the foundation for this educational and instructive program. *Lecture only.
Technician Level: Modules A-D - This course is a 160 hour program (given over nonconsecutive training weeks) and is designed to provide the requisite knowledge, fundamentals of chemistry and monitoring and manipulative training to prepare trainees for duty on a Hazardous Materials Response Team.
Open to fire service, law enforcement, health, environmental and speci c private industry personnel, this course includes class, didactic and hands-on training in real-world scenarios-based experience.
